This ancient puzzle originates in China. The Game of Life consists of thirteen different pieces which are based on five subunits. All wooden pieces make a square. As Chinese players are convinced that it would take more than a lifetime to find all possible variants for this puzzle, they called it „The Game of Life“. So it is the aim of the game to create as many variants squares as possible. The player may also create other two-dimensional figures. For each figure not every all thirteen pieces have to be used. Pieces may neither be positioned vertically nor may they overlap. The sample figures attached only represent a very small range of possible figures for this game. With some skill and patience the player may also create his own picture and figures.
