Chess is an exciting strategy game for two people.
Two players sit opposite each other and take turns moving the chess pieces on the board. The goal of the game is to checkmate the opponent. This means that the opponent's king can neither defend itself nor flee.
The game board consists of 64 square squares, black and white alternately. There are a total of 32 chess pieces, 16 white and 16 black, on the chessboard. Both players have the following pieces at their disposal: eight pawns, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, a queen and a king. And each of the pieces has its own way in which it may be moved.
Chess has simple rules, is not difficult to learn and you can start playing quickly. Nevertheless, chess is very versatile, complex and demanding.
